The Strengths Strategy 360° Profile is a valuable assessment tool which provides rich feedback to individuals about effective strengths use, as well as over/under-use of strengths. Research suggests that emphasizing strengths development alone can create weakness by virtue of over-use.[1] Thus, the Strengths Strategy 360° Profile
provides an important ballast in the strategic strengths development process, to ensure that individuals recognize when and how they are bringing their strengths behaviors in ways that are both effective and ineffective for themselves and others.
The Strengths Strategy 360° Profile is unique in that it is personalized for each individual to reflect individual strengths behavior and strengths style. It reflects both what individuals do best (their strengths), as well as how individuals perform best (their strengths style)—and the degree to which strengths and strengths style might be over/under-used. The 360° Profile reveals perceptions of both strengths and weaknesses from the vantage point of the individual, peers, direct reports, supervisors, and friends/ family members. It also clarifies the most significant contributions provided by the individual and the impact that is felt through effective strengths use. The Strengths Strategy 360° Profile also prepares individuals to create a data-driven Strategic Strengths Development plan, which will dial up under-used strengths, and calibrate over-used strengths.
